Boothbay Whale Watch   1 hour
Take US-1 North from The Parkwood Inn through historic Bath and Wiscasset up to the Boothbay Harbor region. In the summer, going out on a whale watch can be a capstone of the day, and the Boothbay Whale Watch is one of several professionally run whale watch ships in the area. There's nothing quite like seeing one of these magnificent creatures "saying hello" just 100 feet away. This is must-do activity for the entire family.
Casco Bay Lines   20 minutes
There are hundreds of islands along mid coast Maine, and the Casco Bay Lines provides service connecting many of them. It is said that Casco Bay Lines is the oldest ferry service in America. Today, it is a great way to experience Casco Bay and see the scenic Maine coast from the water. Sit back, relax, or disembark and explore an island!
Maine Maritime Museum   15 minutes
The Maine Maritime Museum is foremost a museum and shipyard, educating and entertaining locals and travelers with the history and lore of Maine shipbuilding. In addition, it also hosts many summer cruises on the Kennebec River and up the coast to the Boothbay Harbor region. Each cruise is both educational and fun.
